Happy New Day Jan 01, 2009
Nobody sets off fireworks in the middle of February. Nobody makes promises to themselves to improve their lives in June. Nobody sits down to tally up their wins or losses in September. Why don't we?
Who decided that it is appropriate to recognize every 365.25 days as milestones? It seems a little silly since none of us know where we will be on day 365. Life is short and I don't want to wait.
Why not re-evaluate our lives on a daily basis? Why not celebrate every 24 hours? Why not look to tomorrow (literally) with anticipation and excitement? I can't think of a reason not to.
