what makes Microsoft's new "I'm a PC" commercials so jaw-droppingly bad is that they're not countering Apple's message, but instead they're reinforcing it.

Blame my typing habits or the amount of work I've been doing on this site lately.  I was tweaking my permalinks today, when to my horror, my "\" key popped off.  I googled it to make sure I wasn't the only one with this problem (I'm not) and carefully put the key back.

But that really underscores my need to get a new MacbookPro.  C'mon Apple, release the new machines already!
