If I had Iron Man technology, I'd probably be a super villain.  Which is why the people working on building a robotic exoskeleton better not let me get my maniacal hands on it.

An interesting study on children who put off instant gratification vs the ones that want it RIGHT NOW.  Over a long period of time (these tests started in the 1960s) they discovered that the Planners did better in life overall.  The Hedonists were more likely to be caught up in financial ruin, addiction and sickness.

It's interesting to me that studies back up what we've known all along. Long term thinking is always better than short term rewards.  If we had kept this in mind, we wouldn't be mired in this current financial crisis.
