Ruining a picture by being goofy in someone else's picture now has a name. Go forth and photobomb!
More Pixar admiration coming your way. The Director of The Incredibles lists the things Pixar does to foster innovation. Here's a summary of the entire interview:

The first X-Men was good, the first Spider-Man was better. The first Iron Man is Awesome. btw, stay till the very end.

I don't understand what this site is about, but everything about it excites me. Thanks for the inspiring link, Melody!

This is the third year. It's been long enough that we've allowed ourselves to move on in life. So much good has come our way. I know you wouldn't believe it because we barely believe it. The guilt of knowing you can't share in our adventures is still there sometimes, but the sudden pang of sadness comes less often. Don't get me wrong. We still talk about you all the time, so you are still a member of the team. But we've come to terms with having to go on without you. And because of you.
So thanks again, JK.

Getting food poisoning on Wednesday really threw off my work and weekend plans. Who knew that a $1 bag of chips and some unmanaged stress could wreak so much havoc.
For 4 days straight, I just huddled in corner and watched TV to recover. Watching that much TV really made me want to die. The most annoying were the... 1) Zales commercial with that sappy music. 2) Fools Gold with Macagnehey and Hudson 3) Lost recap clips for those who haven't seen the show.
After this grueling week, I've resolved to never be sick again.

It's time for a little iMovie fun. Here's the deal: Create a 2 minute movie about ANYTHING based on a real-life story. Upload it to youtube, and post the link to it in the comment section. The deadline is St Patrick's Day (Mar 17). The winner gets gloating privileges and a featured post on this website. Comments?[1]
Another year of life. What are we going to do with it? Comments?[1]
One of the things I was looking forward to with Leopard was Spaces. Unfortunately, this feature is not living up to its promises. When I get a message while I'm on Deskop 4, everything shifts and I get thrown to Desktop 1. It's very disorienting and I'm turning it off until they fix it. Comments?
I'm Derek Chin, and you're not. I design and develop websites for a living, but I also enjoy making music, drawing, getting on my soap box, and long walks on the beach. Click here for a list of my work.
